Revell '49 Merc Couldn't find the kit for a while, finally picked one up but didn't know what to do with it. Matt Trotta posted on the TRAK board how he un-chopped the roof on this thing, and it was just what it needed. I followed suit and un-chopped it the same. From there I rounded all the hard edges, added side trim, shaved the drip rails, made a new windshield frame, and started on some custom tail lights made from the kit's '54 Poncho grill bar. I also converted the kits fender skirts to flush mount skirts and flared them. Plans call for a mile-deep black paint job.
